A live embed: 8 places in New York, pinned with emoji. Pan, zoom and tap a pin.

How to embed a map with multiple locations

Three steps, from a list you already have to a map on your page.

  1. 1

    Add your places

Paste a shared Google Maps list link, or start a map and upload a CSV with a name and latitude/longitude for each place.

  2. 2

    Style and publish

Pick a pin style, give each list its own colour, and choose a shape: wide, 4:3, square or tall. Then publish.

  3. 3

    Paste the embed code

Copy one line and drop it into any HTML or embed block. The map fills the width of your page.

The embed code is one line:

<iframe src="https://www.takeout-tools.com/embed/your-map" title="Our locations" style="width:100%;aspect-ratio:16/9;border:0;border-radius:8px" loading="lazy" allowfullscreen></iframe>

What you get

A map that is quick to set up and stays out of your visitors' way.

No API key

The map and its tiles are hosted for you. Nothing to set up in Google Cloud, no key to paste.

No cookies on the embed

The embed loads no analytics script and sets no cookies. Views are counted with a cookieless request.

Every location on one map

Up to 2,000 places per map. Nearby pins group into clusters, and visitors tap a pin to see the place.

Edit once, updates everywhere

Change a place or add a new one and your site shows it. No new embed code to paste.

Works anywhere you can paste HTML

Squarespace, Wix, Webflow, WordPress, Shopify, Notion or a plain HTML page.

A link to share, too

Every published map also gets its own page you can send in an email or post anywhere.

Who it's for

Sites that need to show more than one place

If your locations live in a spreadsheet or a Google Maps list, you already have everything the map needs.

  • Shops, studios and clinics with several sites

A "find us" page with every branch, without building a store locator.

  • Stockists and partner lists

Show where your product is sold, from the sheet you keep anyway.

  • Guides, events and venue lists

Turn a curated Google Maps list into a map readers can explore on your page.

Put your locations on your website

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I embed a map with multiple locations on my website?

Make a map from a shared Google Maps list or a CSV of your places, publish it, then copy the one-line embed code into an HTML or embed block on your page. Every place shows as a pin on the same map.

Do I need a Google Maps API key?

No. The map is hosted for you, including the map tiles, so there is no Google Cloud project, billing account or key to set up.

Does the embedded map use cookies?

No. The embed sets no cookies and loads no analytics script. Map views are counted with a single cookieless request that carries only the map and the referring site.

How many locations can one map show?

Up to 2,000 places on a single map. Pins close together group into numbered clusters and split apart as visitors zoom in.

What can I import?

A shared Google Maps list link, or a CSV with a name and latitude/longitude for each place. Add a list column and each list gets its own colour and a legend entry.

Does my website update when I change the map?

Yes. Edit, add or remove places and publish, and the embed on your site shows the change. You never need to paste new code.

Will it work on Squarespace, Wix, Webflow or WordPress?

Yes. Any builder with an HTML, code or embed block can show it, and so can Shopify, Notion and plain HTML pages. The embed is full width and keeps the shape you picked on mobile.

Do my visitors need an account?

No. You sign in to make and publish a map. Anyone can view the embed on your site without signing in.
